The public interest community’s growing need for assistance; and A desire among law students to gain experience in public interest law. The LFO makes a substantial contribution to public interest law in Ontario through this program as many organizations simply do not have enough funding to host articling . The PIAF responds to a significant need for legal assistance within the public interest community while giving law students valuable experience in public interest law.
